Mary Barber

Mary Barber is the co-owner of Thymes Two, Inc., with twin sister, Sara Whiteford. Thymes Two is a San Francisco based food consulting and cookbook authoring partnership. The twins are responsible for Dlush’s product development. Prior to the partnership, Mary worked at Aqua in San Francisco.

Mary has over 30 years combined experience and 7 cookbooks to her name (with over 1 million copies sold), including 2 best selling titles Smoothies and Super Smoothies. Mary’s passion for food led her to The Institute of Culinary Education, where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame, followed by study at La Varenne in Joiny, France. She has worked in some of the nation’s most celebrated restaurants, including New York’s Montrachet, and Tribecca Bar and Grill. Mary has also co-owned and co-operated a catering business. In addition, her culinary talents have been showcased on NBC’s Today Show, Live with Regis, Napa Style with Michael Chiarello, and Food Network’s Cooking Live Primetime with Sara Moulton. Mary has also co-authored numerous articles and recipes for publications, including Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, American Home Style, Fine cooking, Cooking Light, Victoria and Health Magazines.
